Ministry News

Autumn has definitely arrived in England with increased wind and rain, though Sunday was absolutely glorious and tailor-made for the myriad of out-door Remembrance Day ceremonies held across the country. Tim participated in the ceremony while myself and a group from Dickens Heath Village Church gathered alongside about 100 others from the village to mark Armistice Day and pay tribute to the nation’s war dead. While a very solemn ceremony which included a 2 minute silence at 11.00, following was an opportunity to meet and mix with many people from Dickens Heath village, and Tim was in his element!

Family News

Plans are underway for Jess to travel to Mesa for Thanksgiving. She is looking forward to seeing Andrew, and overwhelmingly excited to meet the eagerly-anticipated addition to her dear friends Rachel and Jake’s family — beautiful Amelia Joy. She is anticipating much adopted auntie cuddle time! Andrew has had a couple of very busy weeks recently, though he was able to enjoy a time-out this past Saturday at the cinema. He is enjoying his first foray into Fantasy Football and learning more and more as time goes by.

Reminder

Share our prayer requests with friends and church family, but please do not post them on the web or attempt to contact individuals via social media (such as Facebook) in any form. Thank you!
