“Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…” Eph 4:13
Greetings Mission,
As you know, Life In Abundance has been called to work in some of the world’s most challenging regions, serving the most vulnerable. We have also been called to join and share with other ministries in a variety of conferences and gatherings around the world. We are truly grateful for all of these opportunities that God provides.
This past week we had the joy of meeting with people of all ages responding to the Great Commission and Great Concern at the International Conference on Missions (ICOM) in Kansas City. We also had the opportunity to join with longtime LIA family members and friends of the ministry. We are encouraged to see how God is moving among His people in all nations. Join with me with praying today:
That God would confirm His purposes for those who are stepping out in new and distinct service to Him. Specifically those whose hearts were stirred at ICOM and last week’s GMHC.
For those who feel called and have the passion of Jesus to step out, but are unsure of where to serve, ask that God would reveal His direction for them in his Kairos timing. Pray that these dear ones do not lose heart or the opportunity to grow while they await their assignment.
For those who suffer and are vulnerable within the church that we have seen God begin to heal. Over the past few weeks, we have seen men and women embrace their redemption, their identity in Christ, and proclaim the truth of this victory. Pray for the reprisal of the enemy – that the vulnerable would not be discouraged but, rather, experience new places and situations to bear witness.
This is also a time of year when many of our partners are praying about God’s intentions for their year-end giving. We have a number of projects which, if the Lord supplies additional funds for, will allow us to finish the fiscal and program year well.
Pray that God will move in peoples’ hearts, providing guidance and drawing them closer to Him.
Pray that we are faithful in communicating to our audience about the work accomplished for His glory.
Ask that the Lord would provide in ways that can only be seen by all as coming directly from Him.
Thank you for joining with us each week in prayer.
