As we enter the holiday season and begin to reflect on all that we are thankful for, we are excited to begin one of the busiest times of the year for LIA.
This month we encourage you to learn more about the ministry and become involved in any of the following ways:
We hope your holiday season is off to a great start. Thank you for joining us in this Kingdom work.

Recap: GMHC Kentucky
Last week, we were once again blessed to participate in the 2013 Global Missions Health Conference (GMHC) in Louisville, KY. It was a wonderful time of teaching, learning and fellowship. We were so encouraged to connect with our brothers and sisters involved in missions around the world!
Also, we’re fortunate to be participating in the International Conference on Missions(ICOM) right now! Be on the look out next week for an update from our experience there as well.
Once the audio/video from the LIA breakout sessions at GMHC and ICOM become available, we will be sure to post them in our Resource Library.
Give: To Transform. Together.
This Christmas, come alongside LIA as we Transform. Together.
Help us equip the local church to meet the needs of the most vulnerable and change their communities for the long-term.
Will you join us by making a special gift, or becoming a monthly partner?
This summer, LIA had the opportunity to send a video team to Kenya and Ethiopia to capture on film the model and methodology behind LIA’s transformational development model. We’ve been working hard to put together a 10 minute video that articulates exactly the Kingdom work that LIA does alongside church partners.
In just a few weeks, that video will be made available, along with a question/answer guide to help you share LIA with others in your community.
If you are interested in receiving these materials when they become available, send us an email.
Update: OVC Programs In Kenya
Last April, we hosted our annual Spring Pledge Drive, where we asked the LIA family to commit to coming alongside LIA with a monthly gift that supported one year of an orphan and vulnerable children program in Kenya.
We wanted to take a moment and fill you in on some of the progress that has been experienced during the last six months in two OVC programs in particular – Thika and Kisumu.
