Team….things are going very well in Africa. Tom is in the northern part of Ivory Coast, where he’s never been and where they are evangelizing the unreached tribe of the Lobi. As of yesterday, 12 had signed up for baptism and many more for Bible study. One of the most exciting stories is that there is a young man who is set to become the village fetish (witch doctor). The fetish handle everyone’s problems by making sacrifices and offerings to idols (demons). His grandfather and father were both fetish, they have died and he is in line to be next. He has told them he doesn’t want to, he wants to study about Jesus. There are many more great and wonderful things that God is doing. Please keep praying. This week is pivotal in that work. They have 2 men wanting to lead the churches. Here is a picture of those 2 men. One is a translator.
