Odle Family

Join with as we pray for the needs of the Odles in Northern Ghana.
3 To Be On Our Knees
1. Please be praying for our friend and partner Musah and his family, today their house burned and they lost almost all of their possessions. They live in a row house and so the fire took the homes of many people who are now homeless. Pray for God’s provision as they try to rebuild and replace essential items. If you would like to help Musah and his family, you may send a gift to the MRI office and we will pass those gifts onto his family. Just add a note, so we know what the gift is for.

2. Pray for our family as we are going through a number of transitions right now. Our oldest Aidan will be returning to the United States in about three weeks with Anna’s parents. Our youngest Abby has started school at a private school here in Ghana. She is in kindergarden and so far she is loving school. Putting Abby in school has made our house very quiet and so we are all getting a lot more done during the day! For over a year we have had a bonus daughter living with us, Bernice. She is in high school and will be moving to the hostile at the school this weekend. She will come home on the weekends, but we are pretty used to having her around every day. Pray for us though as we go from having a house full of seven children everyday to having just four children at home during the day.

3. Pray for our farm and shea nut businesses. Both agriculture projects have their own set of struggles and setbacks this year. This is a bad year for shea nuts, meaning there are not as many of them. This is good for the women selling because they can get a better price, but for us the price is very high and buyers are not as interested this year because the price is double what it was last year. We have had very good rains for the farm this past month, but we are having trouble with weed control and when it rains so much, you cannot get into the fields to do anything about weed control. So just pray that God would continue to watch over both businesses and that He would provide a bountiful harvest despite the setbacks.
