3 To Be On Our Knees
1. September is a month of birthdays in our family! Cecily turned 14 on September 6, Abby turned 5 on September 10, Benen turned 16 on September 18 and Jared turned 40-something on September 18! It is sort of nice to have half of our birthdays in the same month because we can just celebrate once or twice and fit everyone in. We are thankful for our health and life and for each one in our family. Pray that God would continue to grow each one of us over the next year to be more like Him.
2. Pray for our visit with grandparents over the next two weeks! They arrive today and we are excited to have them. Their arrival also reminds us that we have just two more weeks with Aidan, he will return home with them. So pray for our transitions over the next two weeks and after that as we all adjust. We are trusting that God has a clear plan for his life and we are praying that Aidan will be wise to discern what the next steps will be.
3. Continue to pray for the community of TY, the farming project is going well. We need additional funding for all of that, but that will be a never ending issue. Pray that the Holy Spirit will begin to open hearts and minds to who Jesus is. We are praying for our Harvest Celebration and the chance we will have to share Jesus and the story of how He called all of us to come together. Our prayer is that there will also be a Harvest of Souls and that a church will be started in TY.
