Sunday
“Be holy, because I am holy” (Leviticus 11:44b).
Pray that they will lead holy lives. Pray that their holiness will be noticed in ways that draw others into conversation about how their lives are different.
Monday
“By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35).
Pray that they will genuinely love each other in ways that point others to Christ.
Tuesday
“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25).
Pray that their lives will be controlled by the Holy Spirit.
Wednesday
“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation” (1 Peter 2:2).
Pray that they will feast on God’s Word. Pray that they will mature spiritually as they interact with Scripture.
Thursday
“Go and make disciples…” (Matthew 28:19).
Pray that God will give them opportunities to read and discuss His Word with others. Pray that these times of studying together will result in many becoming disciples who will themselves disciple others.
Friday
“Those who suffer should continue to do good” (from 1 Peter 4:19).
Pray that they will stand strong in difficult circumstances, especially when they face persecution for their faith.
Saturday
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
Pray that their lives will cause others to glorify God. |
