Pagak, South Sudan.
Refugees who fled their home of Pagak during battle are now urged by the seated government to return. Pagak suffered heavy fighting when opposition forces occupied their home territory as a base of operations and became a focal point of the Government of South Sudan to loosen the grip of those that are in rebellion against their forces. Directly prior to the occupation, MERCY PARTNERS had presented the Jesus Film. The clay building we presented in was packed with youth and mosquitoes. The event was an evangelistic outreach using the equipment supplied by Good News Production International. The event tells us that even before fighting began, God had His eyes fixed on this community. We pray that the people of Pagak can take confidence that Gods eyes are still on them as they dig for courage to return.
PRAY – for courage to increase in the returning refugee as they can take confidence in Gods protection.
