Dear Mission,
Our God is marvelous and the depths of His grace and love are far beyond our understanding. Let us not forget, brothers and sisters, to spend time simply praising Him for who He is! The Lord deserves all the glory and all of our praise as we look forward to the day when everything that has breath will the Lord! Join us as we praise God for all he has done and is doing in Djibouti:
- The Nation: Praise God that Djibouti continues to experience peace and stability throughout the country. Pray that this would continue and that, as they enter legislative elections, God would protect the leaders and people of the nation and guide them in wisdom.
- LIA-Djibouti: We are abundantly grateful that, despite the challenges faced by our country director, the Lord has helped us to renew our registration in Djibouti for 2018. Praise him also for ending the country director’s court case and that he is no longer being observed by the government!
- Programs Praise: Praise God for our partnership with the Ministry of Women and Families and that they were gracious to give us leadership of the government sewing center since the beginning of this year. Pray that this space will be fruitful for us and that we would continue to foster a healthy partnership with the Ministry of Women and Families.
- Program Requests: We pray that God would provide technical and management support to help the church generate their own local fundraising strategies to strengthen the financial stability of the programs. Ask also that fruit would come from both the Muslim Background Believer (MBB) and Discipleship Making Movement (DMM) programs that are currently active. Pray for wisdom and the power of the Holy Spirit for the leaders and disciples.
