Sunday
“Come near to God, and He will come near to you” (James 4:8).
Pray that developing and nurturing an intimate relationship with God will be a daily priority.
Monday
“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other” (James 5:16a).
Pray for healthy interpersonal relationships characterized by openness and spiritual integrity.
Tuesday
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him” (Romans 15:13a).
Pray that they will live in hope and in trust-based joy and peace.
Wednesday
“The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything” (Philippians 4:5b, 6a).
Pray that God’s nearness will be tangible and that His presence will dispel fear and anxiety.
Thursday
“Be careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15, 16).
Pray that they will seek and receive wisdom from God for responding to each opportunity that He places in their days.
Friday
“And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ” (Colossians 4:3).
Pray for new opportunities for proclaiming Christ where He is not yet known.
Saturday
“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5).
Pray that they will follow the example of Christ, who humbled Himself and sacrificially gave His life to bring others to His Father. |
