Chinese To Christ Ministry (C2C)
IBCC China – Wing Wong

  • Thank the Lord for providing safe travels for Wing Wong from the United States to Hong Kong on October 4th. There, along with Brandy Lee, minister of the Manchester Chinese Christian Church, he enjoyed the warm fellowship with a Christian family.

  • On October 16th, God again showed His mercy on Wing’s travels to Guangzhou from Hong Kong during a signal 8 typhoon (highest is signal 10). In a somewhat hectic morning, God worked to beat the storm by providing a taxi immediately (average wait that day was two hours), granting a seamless exchange of train tickets to an earlier one, speeding the team through immigration, and securing that the train left on time!

  • These mercies shined brighter considering the higher restrictions on travel. Hotel operators frequently require guests to register with authorities before staying and to undergo more stringent (often unreasonable) travel permit scrutiny which restricts the freedom of movement. Police had conducted a late night/early morning visit to Wing’s hotel room to inspect his re-entry permit. There have been multiple roadblocks and checkpoints to heavily restrict travel in China as well. Please pray that the Lord may keep opening the way for Wing as he continues traveling around China.

  • Praise the Lord! Fellowship and meetings went well in Guangzhou as they discussed new religious laws being imposed in China and various belief issues. Wing met with several church leaders to discuss a plan to expand the Truth-seeking group in Guangzhou because many old members had immigrated to other countries. Please pray that God will provide wisdom and inspiration for these leaders in their efforts in expanding this group.

  • Please pray for churches in Guangzhou, Jiangxi, and Sichuan as these churches have been visited by government officials. There is now enormous pressure on churches in China due to new laws and regulations affecting religious activities within the country.

  • Thank God that Wing completed a 12-part lesson training series with the newly translated “Building Blocks for Bible Study.” A group of about 75 people from 7-8 churches participated in hermeneutic and homiletic training! Wing also met with 7 families after he preached on October 23rd to pray with them and have fellowship. Please pray for guidance and provision for Wing as he continues the Lord’s work.

  • Praise the Lord! Our C2C team in Manchester, NH has reached out and connected with 3 international students at Southern New Hampshire University! They shared a Hot Pot and all three students took tickets to our December 9th outreach event which introduce students to our Chinese Student Care Service (CSCS) campus ministry. Please pray that our team continues to connect with students and bring them closer in knowing our Lord!

Manchester Chinese Christian Church
Brandy Lee – Manchester, NH

  • Give thanks to God for Minister Lee’s safe arrival home from visiting families in both Hong Kong and Taiwan. Also, thank God for those who lead and taught in his absence so the church could be stable and strong.

  • Pray that the Lord would move the heart of the congregation to meet the challenge of the last season of the year.

  • Please pray also for our youth as they desire to share the gospel with their friends. Many are learning how to witness and pray for their friends individually. May God continue to reveal Himself to our youth and to their friends.

New Life Cambodian Christian Church
Rinn Sim – Lowell, MA

  • Please pray for Savy and others who have been joining us at church this past month. Pray that Savy will take the next step of faith to join us for home Bible study. Pray that these guests will humble themselves before the Lord to find transformed hearts in Jesus.

  • Please pray that the church will follow our lead in reaching out to the local Cambodian population. Pray for us as we share the good news of Jesus Christ with others this holiday season.

  • Help everyone to continue praying for more “one’s” each day. That is, “Lord, today, give me one person with whom to show and share your love.”

  • Pray for more leadership that will strengthen and guide us towards a missional vision. God knows exactly what we need for our leaders. Pray that we will continue loving and serving the Lord wholeheartedly. May this love give us a heart for the Khmer people here in Lowell.

New Hampshire Korean Christian Church
Eunho Moon – Bedford, NH

  • Michelle Yu’s baptism has been scheduled for Sunday, November 5th. She is one of our teenage students who has decided to receive Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. Please pray for God to continue to grow and strengthen her as she takes this next step in her faith journey.

  • Our young adults have been meeting for small group bible study on a biweekly basis. A Korean medical student, Janet, has been having personal bible study with Chang Inn, one of our young adult leaders. Please pray for our students as they grow in their relationship and understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ. May God continue to speak truth into our lives through our study sessions.

  • Please continue to pray for Im Hyusun and her husband that together they will commit to NHKCC. Both pharmacists live in Manchester, but only Im has attended the church. Pray that her husband will come with her and that together they will receive God’s love.

  • Seongja Williams continues to experience continual nerve pain. She hasn’t been able to leave her home without help and hasn’t been able to attend church. She’s currently waiting for help with her condition. Please pray for the Lord to provide miraculous healing for her and for our members to surround her with encouragement.

  • Please pray for SB Lee and his family as they are experiencing a difficult season of life. They are struggling with a recent job opportunity that will require them to move to Korea. Please pray for God to provide clarity to the whole family as they prepare to decide.
