packing meals for everyone. everywhere.
thank you!
Thank you for your response
to Hurricane Harvey!
Through the generosity of many people, donations have been received to package over 57,000 meals for families affected by Hurricane Harvey in Texas!  Thank you!

Over 3000 of these meals have been packaged by volunteers and will soon be on their way to Creekside Christian Fellowship* in Needville, Texas.  A small Lifeline team will deliver these meals to the church for the families in their community most affected by Hurricane Harvey.  This team will also assist the church with recovery efforts, as Creekside serves their community through clean up.  While on the ground in Texas, the team will assess if there are additional ways we can assist with hurricane relief.

The remaining 53,000+ meals (and more, as donations come in) will be packaged by volunteers at our Ministry Centre (see below for your opportunity to help!) and by churches across the U.S. who are hosting meal pack events for Texas.  These meals will be distributed by Creekside and other churches through their relief efforts and food pantries.

*Why Creekside Christian Fellowship?  Greg Garcia, lead pastor at Creekside, has a special place in our hearts.  Greg has been a mentor and coach for Brad Jones, our pastor at LIFEhouse Christian Church in Winslow, Arizona who relaunched the church last year.  When we heard Creekside was impacted by Hurricane Harvey, we wanted to come alongside to help them and be part of their efforts to show Jesus’ love to their community.

Pack meals for Texas!
Wednesday, September 13 @ 7p
If you are near Central Ohio, join us at our Ministry Centre to package nutritious (and delicious!) rice & bean meals for families in Texas who are recovering from Hurricane Harvey!
Can’t make it?  Host your own meal pack event!
Gather a group to package these rice & bean meals!  This is a great project for churches, community groups, schools, coworkers, and girl/boy scouts.

Your group provides the site, volunteers, event promotion, tables and electricity, along with donations to cover the food and packing materials.  We bring the materials and staff to lead your event.  There is no minimum or maximum event size.

Contact BenMatt, or Will for more details and to schedule your event!

What about Hurricane Irma?
Irma’s impact on our ministries in Haiti and Cuba
First of all, we want you to know that your donations for Texas will still be given towards the relief efforts there.  Recovery takes time.

With Hurricane Irma barreling through the Caribbean, we know that you are concerned about your friends and sponsored children.  The storm is not going directly over our churches and schools in Haiti, but the rain and wind may impact our areas.  We are in continual contact with our staff in Haiti; they will keep us apprised of the situation.

Our eyes are also turned towards Cuba  We are praying for the families in our house churches, as they prepare for the storm!  We are also in contact with our Cuban partners and they will let us know if and how you can step in to assist.

Please keep praying for Haiti, Cuba, and those in the U.S. who are in the path of the storm!
