Voice among the voiceless.

Mercy Partners engages global issues for the end result of glorifying God. This is done through immediate care like famine and disease mitigation, sustainable aid of constructing water wells for at risk populations and training and education for church workers of various backgrounds.

Our core focus is that all of our service programs operate through the Church of Christ to bring Him glory by showing equality in Gods grace – This is not an easy task.

Most of our programs are operable on foreign fronts, conflict zones, where mission and humanitarian work is devoid. Our global partners have “ kingdom eyes” as they seek to stand in the gap for their people while holding out life to rival tribes and enemies.

In the conflict of South Sudan, our church family represents 16 different tribes. – It is their unified voice and heart that will turn the country from a state of failure to spiritual prosperity if we continue to empower those on our front line.

Impartiality and neutrality among tribes and warring parties have been the watermark of MERCY PARTNERS and will continue as we walk in the foot steps of Jesus Christ.

This week we mourn the death of American freelance journalist, Christopher Allen ( age 26). A news agency dispatched Chris for two weeks. Circumstances and legalities surround his death and will be debated.  As a Christian organization, any loss of life is grievous and the death of Chris added to the count of 300,000 deaths from opposition forces, civilians, Republic soldiers and aid workers is just too much.

Security risks are well known. Chris and other reporters provide essential updates and eyes on the ground along with our partners to make security assessments that are vital to the longevity of our mission of Mercy.  Therefore we are asking you to pray over these three points.

1.Pray for the comfort of Chris Allen’s family as they mourn his death on the battlefield.

2.Pray for the protection of journalist engaged in reporting the war. Pray that our unbiased observations will reach the thrones of those that can wage peace rather than war.

3.Pray that we may increase our ministry to those serving in the medical care, aid organizations and journalism in South Sudan.
