He who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence indeed is the LORD, is blessed. He will be like a tree planted by water: it sends its roots out toward a stream, it doesn’t fear when heat comes, and its leaf remains green. It shall not worry in a year of drought or cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8

Post Road hosts Polish ministry intern

Aleksander (“Olek”) Podwysocki came to Post Road CC (Indianapolis, IN) in June to serve as a ministry intern. His primary role has been as a counselor with fourth graders at Camp Connect, which is an outreach to neighborhood kids. Camp Connect runs eight weeks, M-F, from 8:00 – 5:00. Olek has also had opportunities to play bass guitar on the worship team and to help create ministry videos. He returns to Poland in August. Thanks, PRCC, for hosting Olek this summer, and thanks, Olek, for serving so well.

                                               Bloomsburg to Ciechanow

A team from the Bloomsburg CC (Bloomsburg, PA) traveled to Ciechanow, Poland, to assist the church  in offering a week of English classes. Over 50 people from the community – both young and old –  attended the classes and then returned to the church for a final ice cream party. Many new relationships were begun and we pray will continue as the Ciechanow church reaches out to their community.

Seerley Creek to
Biała Podlaska

A team from Seerley Creek CC joined forces with a team from Post Road CC (both Indianapolis, IN) to serve at the work site in Biała Podlaska. They filled in  huge amounts of dirt next to the walls and spent several hours tying rebar. It’s exciting to see the building take shape and to watch as relationships between Poles and Americans grow ever deeper.

Trader’s Point to Bemowo

A team from Trader’s Point CC (Zionsville, IN), recently took part in the ELI church plant initiative. Altogether 19 Americans (from GA, IN, MI, ME, MO) and a dozen Polish believers came together to complete six projects in the Bemowo district of Warsaw. The “Warsaw West” church officially began in March of this year. During the first week of July they reached out to their community by renovating three flats, painting rooms at the Mother’s Klub, visiting residents at the veteran’s care facility, and hosting an American Day at the local culture center.

New Hope returns to Bielsk Podlaski

The youth center at the church in Bielsk Podlaski is all but complete now –  thanks to the crew from New Hope Christian (Whitestown, IN). This team painted, put in flooring, assembled 14 beds, plus finished everything else Pastor Henryk asked them to do. Thanks, New Hope, for a job well done.
