YOU’RE PART OF OUR STORY

Executive Director, Bill Warren

Stories, we all love a good story.  The people at your church are part of our Story at FAME and we’d love to come alongside you to encourage them with portions of that Story.

God is doing amazing work through our partners this year.  Many of them are under antagonistic situations and persecution, and God is showing Himself strong in the opportunities for them to serve even in Pakistan, India, and the Philippines.

In 2017 we still have some open weekends and other dates available to:

  • Share in a weekend service (from impactful 2 minutes to full powerful sermons)
  • Share in a small group, class or student environment
  • Meet with a Missions or Global Impact team

We are story-tellers, and look forward to thanking your church family on their global impact.

Please contact us at either Bwarren@fameworld.org  or at Jcoon@fameworld.org.

We look forward to meeting you.

Jeff Coon, Director of Development

PAPER WEIGHING YOU DOWN?

Why not consider e-receipts instead of mailed copies of your donation receipts? To receive an emailed receipt instead of a mailed receipt, please email FAME Office Manager, Lisa Law at FAME@fameworld.org
E-receipts also help us be good stewards of what God has blessed us with by helping cut administrative costs, reducing what we pay for postage, envelopes, and letterhead.

If you would like your receipts emailed, but would still like a supply of return envelopes, please let us know and we will be happy to provide them.

Mailed year-end receipts will still be sent in January.

COME VISIT US AT THE NACC JUNE 27-29, 2017

Plan now to visit us in Kansas City at this year’s NACC (North American Christian Convention). We will be at Booth #1615 near the Connecting Place. Stop by and see us! On Thursday night plan to get your FAME Frisbee at our booth. Only at the NACC After Party!

The North American Christian Convention is an annual gathering of Christians for worship, preaching, teaching, fellowship, and networking.

The convention typically features top-notch speakers, worship leaders and Christian talent. Workshops, Bible studies and networking events offer attendees resources for their ministries and churches.

Each year, the exhibit hall includes displays from hundreds of different organizations including Christian colleges, missionaries, churches, non-profit ministries, and publishing houses.

TRIP TO HAITI
OCT. 27- NOV. 4, 2017

You are invited to join us on our upcoming trip to Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. As you can imagine, in a country like Haiti, there is much need. In the area of healthcare, many needs go unmet due to lack of money to purchase needed medications, non-existent healthcare facilities in local communities, and lack of education on disease prevention. FAME will be serving in ministry with Haitian Christian Mission (HCM), directed by Edwens Prophete in Fond-Parisien, Haiti.

Our primary focus on our upcoming trip to Haiti is to serve alongside our Haitian brothers and sisters who are medical professionals in providing medical/spiritual care through multiple mobile medical clinics to people living in remote communities who have little to no access to healthcare.

We are seeking Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, NPs, PAs, Physical Therapists, Dentists, Optometrists, and other medical professionals who are seeking an opportunity to be used according to their skills and abilities on this trip. We are also in need of non-medical trip participants who will be taught how to serve in the following areas:

Triage (taking blood pressures, temps, and blood sugars. They will also determine the chief complaint of the patient).

Health Education Station (teach a simple health education lesson along with sharing a brief devotion with a group of 10 – 15 patients at a time).

Pharmacy Station (prepare prescribed medications to be dispensed to the patient).

You will also have the opportunity to attend a Haitian worship service, visit a local Haitian community, learn about the culture, and engage in other activities and ministries of HCM.

Accommodations are on the HCM campus with comfortable beds, showers, and flush toilets. Each day you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains and Lake Azuei. Meals are prepared by the Haitian staff of HCM and are absolutely delicious! For more information about this trip contact Lonnie Burley, Director of Short-Term trips at LBurley@fameworld.org
