APRIL PRAYER POINTES
Restoration House Ministries, Inc.

RESTORE CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Xin has been attending RESTORE for several months now. She has not made a decision to follow Christ yet, but is asking a lot of great questions. She has also joined a Home Group and is connecting with others. Pray that Xin will discover the love and grace of Jesus and choose to follow Him.

Lulu has been part of RESTORE for awhile and because of childhood experiences, is struggling with belief. Pray that she will experience God in all His fullness and choose to follow Him.

We have been praying for Jay for quite some time, that he would make a decision to follow Christ. He has asked our staff to pray for his brother, who is having open heart surgery in the next week. Please join us as we pray for Jay and his brother.

Join us as we seek God and ask Him to extend our reach and influence in the city of Quincy. Please pray for all those who are new to RESTORE on Easter!  Pray that people will see and hear the Gospel message clearly. Pray that people will respond in faith to the grace of God!

NORTHPOINTE CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Praise God for our Cumberland Easter Egg Hunt this past Sunday. We got to host over 1,000 people at the event, and we had 71 people indicate they wanted to know more information about NorthPointe. Almost everyone who attended the event received an invite for Easter. Please pray God would use those invites and our Easter services to lead people to Him for the very first time.

Joel and Jennifer started coming to NorthPointe about a year ago. Joel is an alcoholic, and their marriage has become estranged. Please pray for God’s strength to reign in Joel’s life, restoration for their marriage, and for their kids who are feeling the full effects of the situation.

This past week we had a great conversation with the Mayor of Cumberland about ways NorthPointe can partner with and serve the community. This summer we will begin serving the community in brand news ways. Please pray that through our service and partnerships people will come to NorthPointe and ultimately get connected with Christ.

BRIDGEPOINTE CHRISTIAN CHURCH

For our Easter service we are not having childcare, but instead we are creating “activity boxes” that are being put together by Mike and his team. We just ask that you please pray that he may get all the boxes together smoothly and that all the children and parents are pleased with his hard work.

Also, on Saturday we are having 3 egg hunts in 3 different locations. There will be thousands of participants between all the locations and about 200 volunteers so please pray that everything moves smoothly and that people are able to have a good time and be impacted by BridgePointe, and want to attend our Sunday service and potentially further their relationship with Christ! We pray that the egg hunt is a way to plant a seed for people who may be lost and broken.

For our Youth ministry there are 5 students that Keith is working with to try and help further their relationship with Jesus. Please pray over the next few weeks they can find a spark for Jesus and a desire to learn and know more about Him, His grace, and His love!

Construction is continuing on the buildout of a larger warehouse that will double the space for ministry.  Please pray for the vision and safety of all who are helping to make this happen.

OCEANPOINTE CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Please pray for several of our regular attenders who are still contemplating giving their lives to Christ! Conversations are happening and we are doing our best to disciple and teach these people about baptism. We hope that the Pray for One series will inspire our members to claim ownership of their faith and urge them to completely commit.

We are asking for continued prayer as we approach Easter Sunday. We are adding the 4th service for that morning and are hoping to reach so many more people on this island. We also ask for prayer regarding the launch of our Thursday Night Service on April 20! We are so excited and pray that this will be another opportunity for outreach.

As we are ending our Pray for One series, we are praying as a staff and as a congregation for the individuals that have been mentioned. Our OceanPointe people are so excited about finding their “One’s” and inviting them to join them on Sunday!

SOUTHPOINTE CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Carl recently moved back to Rhode Island and attended SouthPointe last Easter. He got plugged in immediately, but then faced some life and logistic obstacles that have kept him away for months. However, he recently came back. Pray for Carl to not slip through the cracks and not lose sight of God’s mission for his life. Pray for him to both know and experience the grace of Jesus in ways he never has before.

Mike was not raised in church and has come from a background of addiction to painkillers. He has a lot of instability in his life: he doesn’t have consistent employment, he has a rocky relationship with the mother of his four-year-old son, and he lives in a very rough area. But, he is so incredibly hungry for the Gospel. Pray for the Gospel to break through each of these areas in Mike’s life.

Emilie is a single twenty-something mother of three. She works hard just to keep her head above water. She came to faith a couple years ago through the witness of her recently deceased aunt. Then she faced some major life obstacles. Even though we reached out to her, we didn’t see her for months. BUT, she is back!!! Pray for God to give her perseverance and persistence and vision for ministry.
