Serving the people of Poland since 1954

February 2017

“…in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is…serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;…if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.” Romans 12:5-8

Taylor University Lighthouse Trip to Poland
A team of 15 from Taylor University spent three weeks in January serving the people of Poland. Although they visited other cities/churches, their primary role was teaching English in the public schools in Sandomierz. They met with hundreds of students over the course of two weeks — developing relationships and building bridges between the church in Sandomierz and the community. We thank them for their service and are convinced their labor of love will bear much fruit for the Kingdom of God.

Sandomierz
It was a joy for PCM and the Taylor team to share in a special morning of worship with the church in Sandomierz. Five people were baptized, giving glory to God for the changes He has made in their lives. The sanctuary was filled with people, many who were in church for the very first time.
Sosnowiec
PCM had the opportunity to worship with the church in Sosnowiec in January. Two of the Taylor students shared testimony and David Hatfield preached the Word. It was exciting to see a full house — people eager to worship God and to love each other. Plans are underway to build a larger sanctuary this spring to accommodate the growing congregation. We are thankful for Daniel and Gosia Masarczyk and the church in Sosnowiec as they proclaim Jesus in their city.

Plock
It was exciting to meet with the church in Płock last weekend. Pastor Jacek Konicki is raising up new leaders who are passionate for God and full of vision for the future. The worship service was so uplifting and it was obvious that God was among us. May He continue changing lives in the city of Płock and growing His church there.
