Join us in Lexington!

This is the 3rd time ICOM will be in Lexington and each year has a special connection. This year is going to be an incredible gathering!   There are several key components to show this:

  • Our Exhibit Space:  I call this the “power room” of ICOM.  This is the 2nd year we have sold out of exhibit spaces in July leading up to ICOM. We have filled the whole exhibit space and we even have 35 groups more who are on a waiting list to come. The energy in the exhibit hall is something you have to experience for yourself!

  • The number of hotel rooms reserved:  There are 800 hotel rooms reserved than we had in 2010.  Some of that is due to our pre-conference events, some people are staying longer.  Some of it is more people are coming period!

  • Mike Schrage, our 2016 president, has a great plan for our main sessions:  The speakers and testimonies are top notch communicators and experts in their fields. The quality of testimonies that we have are real life incredible God stories.  You will NOT want to miss out on the sessions this year.

But our strategy is not about who is coming, it’s not about if we get enough hotel rooms, or anything of this world.  It is about the fact that we are fighting a spiritual battle, a spiritual war – to break free from the cares of this world, to seek the face and will of God our Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the moving of the Holy Spirit upon everyone who comes.

It’s all about the mission,
The Great Commission!

That’s why this year we are praying for:

  • Goers – people who are new recruits to the mission field.  We invite anyone who has made a new decision within the last year to come and share it with us during our invitation time.
  • Senders – I have heard it said that for every person who goes to the mission field, it takes 60 people to make that happen.  Be it supporters financially, through prayer, through dealing with family or personal matters, it takes 60 people to be part of a missionary’s Home Team.  We are asking for people who have never made that decision, who already are not doing that, to be willing to be “mobilized” to be part of someone’s home team.
