ICOM sets itself apart from all other conferences because it connects people with missionaries. Middle and High School Students, from all over the world, will be at SICOM 2016. These students will be given the rare opportunity in spending time with missionaries. This not only opens a mission field to us, but it also gives an opportunity for missionaries to share their vision and strategy with these students.
With SICOM Prayer Encounters, groups of Middle and High Students will be connected and assigned to pray for specific missionaries. Students will be praying for missionaries, any specific needs, and the lives being reached on the mission field. When students hear the passion that missionaries have for their own missions, it may ignite a fire in the students’ hearts for missions.
As you, missionaries, present your mission to these students, you will potentially pass on the desire for the next generation of missionaries. As students pray for specific missionaries, they will potentially feel a calling to follow in the steps of those missionaries on the mission field.
Please respond to this email and let us know that you are willing to be part of Prayer Encounters. As groups of students register for SICOM 2016, you will be contacted with more logistics as to when and how you will connect with your assigned group of students. Together, students and missionaries, will encounter God. We look forward to seeing you at ICOM 2016. Thank you for your sacrifices to reach more lives for His Kingdom.
