Sunday “My command is this: Love others as I have loved you” (John 15:12). Pray that our personnel will love others as Jesus loves them, even when it is difficult to do so.
Monday “Be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed” (1 Peter 1:13b). Pray that their lives will be characterized by self-control and hope.
Tuesday “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8). Pray that those facing spiritual or physical threats will look to the Lord for protection and peace.
Wednesday “You are the salt of the earth [and] the light of the world” (from Matthew 5:13-16). Pray that they will live as salt and light among the people God has called them to serve.
Thursday “So I very gladly spend for you everything I have and expend myself as well” (2 Corinthians 12:15a). Pray that they will display servant attitudes, expending themselves in Christ’s name to meet people’s deepest needs.
Friday “This happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead” (2 Corinthians 1:9b). Pray that they will live in complete, overt reliance on the Lord in every situation and every circumstance. Saturday “It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth” (2 John 4a). Pray that they will experience the joy of seeing their physical and spiritual children living transformed by God’s Word. |
