REPORT FROM THE PROMISED LAND IN HAITI
We are so thrilled to report that 3,644 souls have been won to Christ since the beginning of the year. The 147 churches have been working very hard in their evangelism efforts. Many of the churches destroyed by the 2010 earthquake have been repaired or rebuilt, but we still have a few left to be rebuilt. Please pray with us that the funds come in to finish up the rebuilding of the churches.
We had a few newborns that we presented last month in the churches. We also have a couple that we are going to marry in November, that’s going to be our first marriage since my father’s passing. As for the other churches that did not rebuild yet, they still gathering under trees on Sundays, some of them started to make some attempt on rebuilding. I’m going to visit 2 of them on next Sunday and then I will send you pictures. The five orphans that were left after my father’s passing are doing very well under my older sister’s care. For the Christian school we are starting, we are at 52 children who have signed up already and they are still coming. But we are going to have to stop when we get to 100 due to the size of the class rooms we have available. And we are now working on raising funds to pay the 8 teachers that we are going to have. Haven’t had much success yet, but going to keep working at it as I believe that the good Lord will make way. Please continue to keep us in yours prayers.
