Kentucky Tour

August 15 – 19, 2016

With 8 stops in 5 days, from Owensboro to Pikeville, we are hoping to meet with as many ministers and church leaders as we can. It is our hope that you will be able to join us for a time of fellowship as we share with you what we have planned during ICOM, November 17-20, in Lexington, KY at the Lexington Convention Center and Rupp Arena.

This will be an informational meal that is completely free to you and anyone you bring from your church. We are happy to bring along a few special guests on this trip! Mike Schrage, president of ICOM this year, will be joining us to share his vision for the conference. George Johnson, director of the Christian Evangelizing Association (CEA), a church planting ministry in the northwest part of the US, will also be joining us. Thank you to CEA for sponsoring all of the meals! Jeff Greene, the Alumni Director at KCU, will be with us as well.

Have questions about SICOM? Bring your youth minister with you to these stops because SICOM Director Teddy Haubner will be with us along with Kyle Davies from KCU to answer all your questions. SICOM is for middle and high school students!

Monday, August 15th: Owensboro, KY – Lunch. We’ll meet at Owensboro Christian Church at 12 pm noon. Colby’s will be catering the meal. We anticipate being done by 1:30 pm.
Tuesday, August 16th: Elizabethtown, KY – Breakfast. We will be meeting at First Christian Church. This will start at about 9 am, but coffee will be ready at 8:30 am.
Tuesday, August 16th: Louisville, KY – Lunch. Join us at Buckhead Mountain Grill, 3020 Bardstown Rd, 40205. This is scheduled from 11:30 am to 1 pm.
Wednesday, August 17th: Somerset, KY – Breakfast. Breakfast is at Bob Evans, meeting at 8:30 am. This is on Highway 27. We will be sitting in the private room!
Wednesday, August 17th: Lexington, KY – Lunch. We will be sharing lunch at the Spring Valley Golf Course, 2300 Sandersville Rd, Lexington, 859-254-9646. We will start at 12 noon.
Thursday, August 18th: Ft. Wright, KY – Breakfast. We are meeting at the Family Ft. Wright Restaurant, 1860 Ashwood Circle, Ft. Wright, KY 41011. We will start at 8:30 am.
Thursday, August 18th: Ashland, KY – Lunch. Lunch will be served at Outback Steakhouse beginning at 12 noon.
Friday, August 19th: Pikeville, KY – Lunch. We will start at 11 am at the Landmark Hotel restaurant. We will be having a buffet lunch there.
