Sunday “Go and make disciples of all nations. And surely I am with you always” (from Matthew 28:19-20). Pray that our personnel will live within the reality of Christ’s assurance that He is always with them.
Monday “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” (Matthew 5:8). Pray that they will live with complete purity in thought and deed. Pray for God-pleasing motives in all that they do.
Tuesday “Be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed” (1 Peter 1:13b). Pray that their lives will be characterized by self-control and hope.
Wednesday “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8). Pray that those facing spiritual or physical threats will look to the Lord for protection and peace.
Thursday “You are the salt of the earth [and] the light of the world” (from Matthew 5:13-16). Pray that they will live as salt and light among the people God has called them to serve.
Friday “So I very gladly spend for you everything I have and expend myself as well” (2 Corinthians 12:15a). Pray that they will display servant attitudes, expending themselves in Christ’s name to meet people’s deepest needs. Saturday “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer” (Psalm 19:14). Pray that their every word and thought will be pure and pleasing to God. |
