Thank God:
· For the amazing people He has brought to Dallas for this week’s Discovery – an opportunity to explore the ministry of Bible translation and see how individual gifts and interests can be invested in this aspect of Kingdom work.
· For sweet reunions with teammates from all over the world who are here for Discovery and other events this week and next.
· For the opportunity to share our home with teammates Jim and Joni, who are here to attend these various events. Jim and Joni hosted Eunice during her February trip to Papua New Guinea. It’s nice to have them here and especially sweet to be able to return their gracious hospitality.
· That the two orientation sessions we led last week for the PNG-bound summer interns went well.
· For more progress in getting our house ready to sell.
Please Pray:
· That each person in this week’s Discovery will gain information and insights for discerning God’s leading. Pray also for Eunice as she participates in a panel discussion Wednesday afternoon about daily life on the mission field.
· That God will continue to sustain and protect our teammates Nathan and Lindsay as Nathan oversees Discovery and they both continue their responsibilities with the summer interns.
Coffeehouse: You’re invited!
A highlight of Discovery is the annual coffeehouse, at which missionaries tell hilarious, embarrassing, and deeply touching stories from their experiences as cross-cultural ministers. We’d love if you’d join us for this special evening on Wednesday, June 8, at 7:00 p.m. on the campus of the International Linguistics Center.
