THIS SUMMER – South Sudan faces the biggest hunger crisis in its five-year existence. More than 5 million people facing a severe food shortage.
The world’s youngest country has been Suffering from food shortages exacerbated by civil war. 2.8 million people were in need of humanitarian assistance, equivalent to almost a quarter of the population, with 40,000 in the a particular conflict zone that are close to starvation.
THIS WEEK- MERCY PARTNERS will place a plan in action to provide for the needs of those that are being affected over the next three months. Our main focus is the marginalized and displaced peoples that are within the communities we serve. By empowering the local church to be the hands and feet of Christ we are able to meet the opportunity of evangelism with the resources God has entrusted to us..
