Lifeline Christian Mission – May 9 2016 – Thank you for serving

We cannot begin to express the depth of our gratitude.

They lead ministries or serve behind the scenes. They work alongside you, yet you may never meet them this side of heaven. Their faces and names are not always known, but their ministry is integral.

Arizona: Navajo ministry

As the school year is winding down, please keep our students and staff at Red Sands Christian School in your prayers. Families are also registering their children for the upcoming school year; we pray for each child and family that we are blessed to serve!

Cuba

Sports ministry in Cuba is a key community outreach by the house churches. Recently the churches had a sports day devoted to baseball. Over 200 kids came out, along with their parents. By reaching the kids, the door is opened to reaching the entire family for Christ.

El Salvador

Praise God that Alejandra and Patricia were baptized last week!

Haiti

School registration begins May 23rd. Please pray for the students who register: education is an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty. And in our schools, it’s more than a basic education: they are receiving God’s Word and love alongside math, reading, science, etc.

Honduras

We are thankful for our 12th graders from Ocotillo Christian School, and the sponsors who are investing in them. These students are teaching adults from the community who cannot read and write.

Ministry resources finish incomplete facilities, meet ministry funding gaps, and provide specific items to keep ministry moving forward. This list may seem daunting, but when we partner together, lives will be changed for eternity. We pray that you, your church, or your organization can be part of the solution.

Opportunities:

Honduras: –Partner with a Lifeline church (3 committed partners; need 9 additional partners). –Living Hope church & training center; next phase is roof completion: $28,000. -New “mini-warehouse” $1,750 (half is raised locally) for sponsor gifts and food.		El Salvador: -Bible Institute funding gap; need $5,500 per month to continue developing 30 dynamic leaders. –Partner with a Lifeline church (2 committed partners; need 9 additional partners). -A replacement bus for church transportation
Navajo Ministry: -School funding gap; need $6,000 per month. -10 ministry partners for the fall 2016 church re-launch ($250 – $1500 per month). -$18,000 to purchase a used bus for safe school transportation.		Haiti: -Health care ministry funding gap; $40,000 needed ($28,000 committed so far). -Completion of expanded, renovated Grand Goave church. -Launch the new Bible Institute: $15,000 annually.
Panama: –Partner with the new church. -Dreaming to plant a new church in Panama City; need partners to make that a reality. Cuba: -Partners/sponsors for house church and leadership development; $3,000 each (3 committed; need 7 additional)		US Ministry Centre: -Pallet racking for warehouse organization. -Funding for a next-generation website. –Global impact donors to further the ministry: $30,000. -Sponsor hundreds of students at upcoming conventions to pack food: NACC ($7,000) and ICOM ($10,000). Canada: -Partners for a future church plant.
