MAY 2016

Hong Kong Christian Mission

IBCC China- Wing Wong

  • Ask God to bless those in China engaged in courses on: How to Study the Bible II and Acts of the Apostles.
  • Pray that God will use the booklets we are producing to help more Chinese understand God’s loving relationship with them long before any other religions!
  • Pray for the final preparations for my trip to China in June. Ask God also to open doors of opportunity and hearts to faith.
  • Please continue to pray for Tessa (our IBCC translator) that God will restore her health and cause her husband to return and restore their marriage.
  • We ask again your prayers for Stacy and Fang Fang as they prepare to attend Boise Bible College! They need to score 500 on their TOEFL test.
  • Again, we ask you to join us in asking our Great Provider to grant us $70,000 for the year beyond our regular expenses. These gifts will expand our ability to minister through a full-time worker, two China trips, training and equipping five NOMAD teams, production and printing of four books and two calendars, stipends for our IBCC teachers and sending two students to Boise.

  • Several members have health issues: Sis. Xiao Zhen Su recovering from surgery. Sis. Jenny Cheung suffers from back pain for which she asks God’s healing. Comfort and mercy for the family of Bro. Joe Wang whose mom is in her last stage of life.

New Life Cambodian Christian Church

Rinn Sim- Lowell, MA

  • Please pray for our evangelism efforts this spring. As the weather warms, people start hanging out in the local park (“Cambodian town”) where we will be seeking to have conversations for Christ. We will also be making outreach efforts during the Khmer New Year celebrations this month. This will include a picnic and cookout to which we have invited neighbors through the use of a distributed flier.
  • Pray that God will keep us strong and enthusiastic during these efforts of spreading the Good News of Jesus to people around Lowell.
  • Please pray and praise God for Mr. Samnang who has been reaching out to his neighbor. We know that people come to Christ most often through their friends. Pray for Mr. Samnang’s success so that others in the church will be even more encouraged to reach out too.
  • Pray for Sandy whose shoulder has been seriously dislocated. She will have surgery and pray that the church will care for her during her recovery.
