Displaced Christians Food and Smiles
Our feeding program fed approximately 1000 Christian Internally Displaced Persons over the past few weeks. This program was orchestrated by our local church growth in S.Sudan.
A grant from International Disaster Emergency Services, I.D.E.S, was a tremendous help when coupled with the support of our partners.
There are many logistics to consider when hosting an outreach targeting Christians that are returning to homes that may be occupied by others that took advantage of their displaced status. We, as the body of Christ were able to provide a stop gap for our brothers and sisters just like the church in 2 Corinthians 8 provided for the need of fellow Christians. Our work will continue through January.
