L.I.F.E. - Love Is For Eternity
You saved her life
Desperately poor. Hungry. Living in a tent. Abandoned.

Running out of options, Mikencia and her mother came to our clinic in Haiti. Hope was fading fast for this little family.

Noting Mikencia’s thin face and skinny, sore-covered arms, a medical work team immediately placed Mikencia in our Toddler Nutrition Program, where she received food continually.

The food she received?  The rice-based food that you packed. The peanut butter you donated.

Today, after a few short months, the transformation in Mikencia and her mother is striking…all because you provided food and hope!
You provided hope…in a bowl
Serving Christ does not have to be complicated: it’s as simple as putting a meal together for someone in need…someone who needs help and needs God. Someone like Mikencia.
This meal you create is simple, yet powerful.  As you combine four simple ingredients – rice, soy protein, dehydrated vegetables and vitamin powder – you connect with little ones like Mikencia, who do not have access to or whose families cannot afford food.

Through this simple, yet life-saving meal, you share the love of Christ and restore a hope that may have been lost.  Through these meals, Mikencia catches a glimpse of the love of Christ through you!

You have a heart for fulfilling this scripture in Matthew: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.”  Each meal you pack has a profound impact on a child and their tomorrow!

Prayer requests
  • The women’s work team to Haiti is coming up in January; the trip is full with a waiting list!  Pray for that team to have a blessed trip, to be in unity in ministry, and that God will be glorified.
  • Please pray for the team from New Day Christian Church of Port Charlotte, Florida.  They are serving in Guatemala in our first mission trip there.  They will visit their sponsor children, worship with Lifeline’s principle church and in house churches, present a children’s program, visit in the homes of church members, and other ministry projects.  Please pray for Keith and Christi Dimbath, Lifeline’s Work Team Directors, as they coordinate this team in the mission field.
