LATM has helped publish Christ-centered books in 67 languages so far, and language number 67 is new to us. We helped put two books into the hands of Kwere speakers (you can look them up). Both books are Literacy Primers that Pioneer Bible Translators will use to teach the Kwere to read the Bible in their language. Over 175,000 Kwere people live in Tanzania. The need is great because less than one-third of one percent are evangelical Christians.
PBT anticipates that the entire New Testament will be finished soon in Kwere. With the Primers, the Kwere people will be ready to read Scripture as it becomes available to them. The Primers are evangelistic tools, and include family health lessons, as well. They will bless the physical and spiritual lives of those reading them!
