“But Jesus, you didn’t tell us how!” is online
As I mentioned last week, in the preparation for this message I noticed (for the first time) that Mark’s gospel nowhere mentions that Jesus taught the disciple HOW to become fishers of men – or HOW to fish for people. I thought this was striking, because Peter (Mark’s gospel is essentially a record of Peter’s inspired memory of the events) would certainly have included such important information if Jesus had given them step by step instructions!
I hope you will take 30 minutes to think about this with us. Feel free to send me notes of correction if I am in error (happens you know). Getting the WHY right is essential to empowering the how!
