Hong Kong Christian Mission

IBCC China- Wing Wong

Wing is currently serving with churches in China.  He will be gone for six weeks preaching and teaching in seven provinces as well as in Hong Kong.  Please pray for him and his safety as he serves abroad.  Pray for Chinese people to come to the Lord and discover the awesome, powerful love of Jesus Christ.  Thank you for your prayers.

Manchester Chinese Christian Church

Brandy Lee- Manchester, NH

  • Please pray for the development of three different small groups (Bible Reading, Prayer, and Young Adults).
  • Pray that we will be able to raise up more leaders from our church to serve in the ministry.  Our church will begin a “Discipleship Emphasis” for some of our members to grow more in their spiritual walk and discipleship training.  We already have four selected individuals who have signed up to begin this training course next year, so please pray for them.
  • Preacher Lee will be traveling for a few weeks to visit families in both Hong Kong and Taiwan.  Please pray for safety in his travels and for the stability of our church during his absence.
  • The Children’s and Youth Ministries have asked for more helpers.  Please pray that God can move our church members to be involved in these important areas of service.  Pray for the growth of our Youth Ministry during this next school year.
  • Pray for wisdom and opportunity in ministering to our second generation young people.  Pray also for wisdom to direct the congregation to focus on reaching out with the Gospel in the communities where we live.
  • Pray for wisdom in ministering to recent newcomers to our church.  Pray that we will have opportunity and wisdom to reach more Chinese students in the nearby universities as well.  Many of these students are not Christian, so please pray that God will open up their hearts and fill them with His love.

New Life Cambodian Christian Church

Rinn Sim- Lowell, MA

  • Please pray for Phall who used to attend church and was a great help to many others.  She has become lost and struggles with her faith since her divorce.  She since has not been coming to our church.  We asked if she could let her two girls, Soriya and Apreaya, come to church.  They still want to go to Sunday School at our church.  So they have been coming for a couple of weeks now, but please continue to pray for their family situation.
  • Please pray for this Fall season for our church to reach out more to our community.
  • Please pray for Noy who was a very strong Buddhist.  Pray for our conversations with him as we desire for him to find new faith in Christ.
  • Pray for our home Bible study group gatherings.

New Hampshire Korean Christian Church

Eunho Moon & Kei Eun Chang- Bedford, NH

  • Pray for our church members to be united in one heart for God’s mission.  Pray for everyone to welcome new families and to share in the mission.  Pray that we can grow in relationship and bond in unity.
  • Pray for Dena who is one of our church members.  She adopted a little girl and will be going to Korea on October 11 for one week to bring her adopted daughter to the U.S.  Pray for safe travel and an easy process.  Pray for the whole family to lean on each other in love.
  • Two weeks ago our church approved a new plan to take care of children by joining with Compassion Ministries.  This new supporting ministry begins in October.  Our church will be supporting seven children from a very young age, and we desire to support them each year until they can independently take care of themselves.  Our long-term goal is to eventually be supporting 25 children.  We also would like to extend this child supporting ministry into our local communities.  One of our church members, Hesan Yu, has been selected to lead this ministry.  Pray for our church that through this new ministry we will be able to share God’s love with families across the nations.
  • We have seven ministries for which we would like you to pray:  our Worship Team, Treasurer Team, Child Care Team (Compassion Ministries), Evangelist Team, Fellowship Team (Food & Preparation), Education Team (Teaching and Scholarships for student support), and our Serve Team.  Each team leader will select those who will serve in these ministries.  Pray for our church community to get plugged in and involved.
  • Please continue to pray for Dr. Chang’s ministry as he begins teaching at Korea’s Seoul Christian National University.  Pray for him and his family as they adjust to living in Korea.
  • Please continue to pray for Preacher Moon’s wife, Myoung Hui, as she is still searching for a good part-time job to help provide for their family.
  • Pray for Andrew Fross, our Resident Minister, who serves our youth and young adults.  Pray for this group of teenagers as they are being challenged this next school year to make God the center of their lives.  Pray for our graduated youth students, Eunice Kwak and Christine Lee, as they adjust to living away at college.  Andrew is also working with our young adults to make them stronger disciples so they too can go and be disciple-makers.
  • Pray for our young adults and college age young people this Fall as our church desires to reach out to this age group more this year.  Pray for our Young Adult Group who meets every other week for Bible study.  They are still young, and starting adulthood is difficult.  Even in their studies we want them to continue to make time for God in their lives and to keep their minds set on Him.  Pray for one of our newest students, Jung Hyun, and her mother who are not believers.  They are attending our church, but please pray that they will be open to God’s love and to receive the gift of Jesus.
  • Pray for our internal discipleship growth to be effective in reaching out to the communities in our area.  Pray for our church members to have a passionate heart for God’s mission.
