To God be all praise! We see His hand of blessing on the projects at hand.
At the moment I am a bit frustrated with the internet connection or the website we use for these updates. One or both are making the production of this prayer update and the inclusion of pictures I have selected most difficult. But much more importantly, God is opening doors for us in the various projects we have undertaken here.
OKe Mart is making steady progress. We are grateful for the wisdom and the hard work that Win has invested to make this possible. We are praying for the right local workers to relieve the team from the long hours in the store.
Fast Start continues to pick up new students and the faculty is growing in unity and vision. We still long to have a significant impact on the non-Christian community.
Proyek OKe (or Operation Opportunity) has been approved by local leaders in 5 areas of the city. Reading rooms are up and going. In some places there are tutorials underway. Some university students have asked Michael in Rumah Tiga to tutor them in English and in appreciation they are to help tutor younger students in their school subjects. We have activities in non-Christian prayer rooms; in a venue for teaching the reading of Arabic; in a beach front hut built for the community to use for relaxation; in a village office, etc. Pray for strong bridges to be built.
The first translations of the Life of Christ Visualized have been completed and now need to be checked by others.
We are planning to have Disciple Making Movement training in a venue that has been made available to us rent free over the next 3 Saturdays. This venue is also available for us to use for the planned bi-lingual worship services.
Thank God for what HE is doing and ask him to continue to bless these efforts!
We will make a quick trip to the US (October 20-November 17) for regular medical check ups.
Yours Until all have clearly heard,
