I just read the Lookout article on ICOM that came out this Sunday, and let me tell you – I am ready for it to happen right now! We have tons of work and details to do here in the office, but talk about wetting my whistle. We also just received word that 71 students & 3 staffers are flying in from Boise, ID!!! Wow! Things to think about before getting to ICOM – Ticketed Events!
Consider attending a bible study breakfast, missionary luncheon, Common Ground or the Hymn Sing! See each item below!

Bible Study Breakfast – This is a great way to start the day, 7:30 to 8:30 am. Daryl Reed from DC Regional Christian Church is leading our bible study this year! Join Daryl & many others in a study to kick off your days at ICOM, and enjoy a yummy buffet style breakfast at the same time!These 3 breakfasts are sponsored by Logos Bible Software. Tickets must be bought before ICOM. Cost is $12.

Missionary Luncheons – These luncheons are the highlight of many people’s weekends! Great food, no rush in line, just sit down and enjoy! Friday Speakers — Mark Begarly (veteran missionary), Charis Trusty (MK), Simi Dinghra from India (national), Jeff & Indra Palmer (new recruits), & Meredith Kendall (stateside)
Saturday Speakers— Mary McMahon, Heath Hostetler (stateside), Erik Estrada (national), Tyler Sims (new recruit), Dave Fremstad (veteran) – Tickets Must be bought before ICOM. Cost is $15.

Common Ground – This is a ladies only coffee event! This year the speakers are Mrs Indu Lall, Abhineeta Matney, Lashi Howard & Katie Lall. Hear stories from the field & be encouraged with these amazing women of God! Join us for coffee, snacks, fun, laughter & great fellowship. Tickets for Common Ground can be purchased onsite until Friday afternoon! This takes place on Saturday afternoon in the Marriott Hotel. Cost is $10.

Hymn Sing – Join the Gospel Lads as they lead this event with some great old hymns! This group travels all around singing & praising Jesus through these hymns. If you like to tap your toes and clap your hands and savor the memories as you sing and listen to some of the best songs ever written, then don’t miss this event. This will happen Friday afternoon in the main session area. Cost is $5.

Thanks to the local arrangement workers in Richmond, ICOM is happy to offer airport shuttles for Richmond. The instructions are on our website! RV Parking

There is a gravel public parking lot on the east side of the convention center for RV’s!!!!! The cost is $6 per parking space per day. If your unit takes more than one space, then you will be charged for that 2nd space. This is a first come, first serve basis. There is no electricity or sewage drop at this location.

The second best actual RV park is: Americamps, 11322 Air Park Rd., Ashland, VA 23005, which is 16 miles north of the convention center in Richmond.

Don’t forget to look into coming to a Pre-Con event! There will be some great teachings about making disciples, how to effectively lead a STM Trip, learning more about international students on our college/university campuses, plus 6 more! Check out the Pre-Con page on our website to see them all!
