Twitter feeds are overflowing as Head of UN Mission to South Sudan confirms in briefing that President Salva Kiir expected to sign peace agreement tomorrow.

One feed reads “ cessation of hostilities will give people breathing space & allow Humanitarians to urgently deliver aid.”  This news comes at the tail end of our CHOLERA mitigation that has been orchestrated by our indigenous brothers and sisters.  Yet another feed reads ” top humanitarian describes his trip to S. Sudan as “deeply harrowing”: people burned in own homes, gang raped, unspeakable horrors”..

BEFORE DURING AFTER

MERCY PARTNERS has been able to empower natives to care for over 600 at risk children. We have provided resources and training before, during and (we are in prayer what will be) after the war…  Empowering the natives will bring the lasting change needed to build their country.

• Praise God for the work he has done through us during this war.

• In Faith, Praise God in advance of this peace agreement.

•Pray that our projects will help to stabilize the current crisis and that Jesus be praised.
