Mary Nelson is the friend of a friend of World Convention. We haven’t met face-to-face yet, but because Doug and Linda Foster have shared their friend and her work with me, I can share her Christian mission in children’s education with you. I hope you enjoy her story and her website.

TODAY
We find Global Women connecting and serving all over the planet.
Earlier this year, Hosanna Ministries (mentioned earlier in this issue) developed a Community Development Project in addition to the care and education offered to children. Under this project two days were arranged for a Women’s Conference at Lasina campus. About 50 women attended this conference. All of the participants were from rural and interior areas. In this conference various topics were taught and discussed like finance management, health and hygiene, family management, art and craft work, etc. All the women’s were blessed and benefited by this conference and were very happy to attend it and learn many new thing in it. There are plans to assist these women in micro-finance schemes which will help them start small business like poultry, tailoring, animal husbandry, etc. which will in turn help them to raise their financial conditions.

You might find yourself (or someone you know) in these 2014-2015 photos. And if you don’t, it might be that you have photos to add. How are you bringing God’s love into your community? Your pictures and your stories are encouraging tools for others who are passionate about spreading the good news of God’s grace!

TOMORROW
Global Women Connecting will continue to pray…study…serve…connect. You inspire others and make God’s future possible. Who will be our tomorrow?

“O the quiet holy joy of the silent hour, when the soul is alone with God! Have you learned to love it, dear reader? If not, you have yet to attain to one of the purest and sweetest pleasures possible to the Christian in this life” (J.H. Garrison, Alone with God, 21).

If this quotation has appeal to you, you are not alone. Many of us long to spend time alone with a God. But an hour? In our busy lives? Perhaps, like me, you have desired and intended for years to have a regular quiet time with God, but did not know how to begin. If so, then this volume provides a starting point, a daily five-minute devotional that can begin your time with God.
