HARVEST of NEW PRAYER PARTNERS – This Tuesday we have over 25 new Prayer Partners that have joined the Prayer Partners e-mail during our outreach in the Hi Plains ( OK – TX & KS) as well as at the NACC.
DARFUR ..WHAT IS ALL THE CHATTER? – worsening violence has frustrated the International Criminal Court. This past month, President Omar al Bashir has evaded arrest once again. ( Clearly a weak attempt of the African Union to capture him.) Bashir is charged with genocidal ambition since 2003. 2 1/2 million are displaced and continue to endure killings and atrocities. China has protected Sudan’s evil whenever possible.
WORLD NEWS TODAY – South Sudan -a UN rights report states South Sudan’s army raped then burned girls alive inside their homes during a recent campaign noting the “new brutality and intensity” . UN diplomat has been kicked out of South Sudan and Humanitarian Aid among organizations are being squashed. US media is silent. As Christians we urge you to learn about the plight of the South Sudanese and partner with us.
DIRECT FROM OUR village MERCY PARTNERS continues to address the growing crisis during Famine and the spread of CHOLERA that our evangelists are mitigating on the ground. Currently assessing what organizations exist in country that will address CHOLERA so we can formulate a ready response. Our evangelists report 178 dead, 7 near village- we expect exponential increase in the coming days.
OUR MAIN FOCUS THIS MONTH – To EMPOWER the native Christians to care for their people in Mercy so that the Good News of Jesus spreads. This means providing resources to meet the opportunity to show Mercy. – Food, Nutrition, Hydration, Medicine, crash training & mobilization.
PRAY – For continued communication that enables us to respond to this crisis.
PRAY – For Physical and Spiritual protection from diseases and discouragement.
PRAY – That our patients will live another day to hear of Jesus Christ – God’s Son, Their Savior –
PRAY – That time is allowed for repentance of all inhabitants of Sudan ( both North and South).
