Scriptures to Pray for Our Personnel

Paul’s prayer for the Christians in Ephesus suggests many ways to pray for our worldwide team. Read Ephesians 1:12 and 15-22 prayerfully on their behalf throughout this week, praying especially that they will live and serve “for the praise of His glory.”

Sunday
Give thanks for their “faith in the Lord Jesus.” Pray that this faith will be unshakable even when they find themselves in the midst of challenging or discouraging circumstances.

Monday
Give thanks for their “love for all the saints.” Pray that they will exemplify God’s un wavering love in their daily interactions with their co-workers and with local believers.

Tuesday
Pray that God will give them “the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that (they) may know Him better.” Pray that every day they will come to know Christ more deeply and more intimately.

Wednesday
Pray that “the eyes of (their) heart may be enlightened in order that (they) may know the hope to which He has called (them).” Pray that this hope will sustain them through faith-challenging times.

Thursday
Pray that they will also come to know “the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints.”

Friday
Give thanks for “His incomparably great power for us who believe.” Pray that they will live and serve each day empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Saturday
Pray they will live each day fully aware that the power of Christ’s resurrection is at work in them. Pray that they will face each task knowing that God will strengthen them to do everything that He asks them to do.
