Polish Christian Ministries
September 2018

To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy — to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Jude 24-25
OLEK TO CAMP CONNECT
Olek Podwysocki, a student in film and television production at the Warsaw School of Advertising, returned to the States again this summer to serve as an intern with the Post Road CC in Indianapolis, IN. He served as a counselor at Camp Connect as well as helping to create/edit video for their media ministry. Olek shared, "I really learned how to trust God while I was there – like really. That was new to me. I had never taken such a step of faith before."
PAWEL & MARTA TO PALM BAY
Pawel and Marta Stephen with their family served as interns with the Tomoka CC in Palm Bay, FL. Pawel has recently finished the 3-year course of study with CSM (school of music/worship) in Poland and this summer he served as a drummer with the worship team at Palm Bay. We are thankful for Pawel and Marta’s willingness to come to the States to serve at this congregation. Pawel shared, "I was overjoyed to meet so many people loving and serving God and to realize this is happening all over the world."
MICHAL TO NEW HOPE
Michał Drewulski, a student in electrical engineering at the University of Technology in Bialystok, Poland, came to the States this summer to serve at the New Hope CC in Whitestown, IN. Michal had the opportunity to serve in a different area of church ministry each week. Michael wrote his internship: "It changed my view on missions and my everyday lifestyle, and enriched me with relationships with people…. I was encouraged to constantly work on myself, to improve my character as a disciple of Christ and to be about doing ministry at the church."
IWONA TO OKLAHOMA
Iwona Robel, a student in biomedical engineering at the University of Science and Technology in Wroclaw, Poland, has been serving this summer at the Western Hills CC in Lawton, OK. Iwona writes, "When I was leaving Poland I felt deep down that these ten weeks can change a lot in my life. I did not know exactly how it is going to look, what I will be doing, who I am going to meet, but I trusted God that it was Him who opened these doors for me and that He will lead me in this time as He always did and does. It is a great blessing for me to be here, to be part of Western Hill Church ministries, to experience the love and kindness that people from the church show me everyday. Great place, wonderful people, amazing God!"
NATHAN TO POLAND
Nathan Fielder, studying neuroscience and psychology at the University of Kentucky, spent six weeks this summer serving in Poland. As Nathan reflected on his internship, he wrote, "With the opportunity to serve in Poland, I have had the chance to fall in love with God again. As I have joined God in his endless mission to love all people, I have incessantly been blown away by God’s mercy. He never stops loving and caring for all people…. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to serve in Poland. It has changed my life, my perspective on mission, and my relationship with my heavenly Father."
TORI TO POLAND … AGAIN!
Tori Janacek, studying English Education at the University of Missouri, returned to Poland for the third time this summer. She served at Ostroda Camp, at the Bemowo outreach in Warsaw, and as part of the English language outreach in Ciechanow. Tori wrote about her experiences in Poland: "During my time in Poland, I find that God always reminds me how faithful He is. He helps me to understand – and to trust – that His will for my life is good."
TOMAHAWK CHRISTIAN CHURCH
The Tomahawk Christian Church in Hedgesville, WV, has been a faithful supporter of PCM for many years. With new pastors on staff, the church continues to have a heart for local outreach and world mission. It was wonderful to worship with them recently and to share an update of what God is doing amongst the churches in Poland. Thank you, Tomahawk, for being such a faithful mission partner!
OUR GOAL IS IN SIGHT!
We are close to reaching our goal of $175,000!
The funds received thus far have been used for
both renovation and building projects in eleven
of our Polish churches. The need for more space
is an encouraging sign that the churches in Poland are growing. Please consider giving so we can
reach our goal and adequate church facilities can
be provided.
