Two credentialed teachers are needed at Kansai Christian School in Japan.
1) an English teacher from middle school and high school
2) a 5th-6th grade classroom teacher (combined grades)
The school will pay their mission an adequate salary and the mission, in turn, pays the teacher. However, prospective teachers are also encouraged to raise around $300-$500 a month in order to live a little more comfortably here in Japan. We would ask for a 2-year commitment. Previous experience is desired but not required.
KCS is a small Christian school of around 45 students. The majority of families are Christian but we also have non-Christian children in our international school. This year we have around 8 or 9 different countries represented in our student body.
Anyone who is interested may contact Paul and Rickie Clark at paulrickie@jesus4greaterasia.com or office@kansaichristianschool.com. The goal is to fill these positions by the middle of March. The next board meeting is March 13th and applications will be presented to the board at that time. Prospective teachers can go to www.kansaichristianschool.com for information about KCS. They can also go to our mission website: www.jesus4greaterasia.com for some history about KCS.
