The Death of His Saints
Within the past couple of days, 2 beloved co-laborers in Christ have passed away in the prime of their ministries. I normally wouldn’t write to you about those whom you may not be familiar, but these were 2 brothers who shared vision and ministry strategies similar to Disciple Makers for reaching the unreached. They recognized the importance of establishing indigenous (self-support/self-governing) churches.
The first was brother Deepak Dhingra, who passed away Dec. 1 from a sudden viral infection. He served the Lord in Northwest India (Punjab) for the last 20 years. After converting from Hinduism, Deepak (along with his wife Simmi) dedicated his life to reaching the unreached for Christ. He helped plant dozens of indigenous churches throughout Northern India and has trained nearly 100 workers through his ministry,North India Christian Mission. Please pray for Deepak’s family in the days ahead. He leaves behind his wife and 4 children (ages 6 – 23).
The second was brother Victor Mang who passed away Dec. 4 after battling cancer for many months. He served the Lord in Myanmar for more than 10 years. In 2002, Victor started his ministry, Minister’s Training College, to equip Christian leaders to reach his home country. I received this email from Victor in 2008 regarding the vision of his ministry: “To train and send out more than one thousand effective ministers and to plant more than two hundred churches for reaching more than fifty thousand souls for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by the year 2035.” Please pray for Victor’s family in the days ahead. He leaves behind his wife (Niang) and 4 children.

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
