LET THE SUMMER BEGIN!

15 U.S. teams (55 people) are heading to Poland this summer to serve with PCM! Projects range from street evangelism to English classes to construction work to hosting camps, plus more. Please pray for safe travel both to and from Poland and as we make our way throughout the country. The first two groups arrive on June 1. Please pray for us on June 2-9 as we travel by train to NW Poland for meetings with 7 churches.

Katowice

It was so good to meet last weekend with the church in Katowice. We met with the leaders, worshiped with the congregation, and spent time with Pastor Mirek Kozieł and his family. We pray God will continue to lead and provide for this church as they make Jesus known in Katowice. This was the first of 17 cities to be visited this summer by Polish Christian Ministries.

Ukrainian Children’s Camp

So far we’ve received $11,039.12 toward our goal of $14,000 for the Ukrainian Children’s Camp. There’s still time to donate and sponsor a child. A donation of $125 will cover the camp costs for one child.

…Andrzej Ostrowski, pastor in Kolobrzeg, as he is still in intensive rehabilitation from a stroke suffered in early April.

…Beata Kolak as she undergoes treatment for a very aggressive form of cancer. She and her husband, Zbigniew, partner with us in outreaches to youth in NE Poland.

…Lydia Chojnacka (wife of Pastor Zbigniew Chojnacki in Ostróda) who will be undergoing knee surgery this month.

…Szymon and Eva Lemke, newly married in Gdynia. Szymon is the son of Wojtek and Iwona who lead the church in Gdynia.

…the new church plant in Bemowo (district of Warsaw) under the leadership of Adam Dulinski.

…the church in Plock as they meet the challenge of putting up a new fence on their property

…a new pastor for the church in Koszalin and funds to support him.

…additional funds for these churches: Bialogard ($700), Katowice ($450), Lidzbark Warminski ($600), Lodz ($600), and Siemiatycze ($750).
