Polish Christian Ministries
July 2016

Above all, put on love – the perfect bond of unity… And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.  Colossians 3:14, 17

ELI initiative in Wilanow

This coming week (July 3-8) the ELI interns will be hosting a special initiative of prayer, service, and outreach in the Wilanow district of Warsaw. This rapidly growing neighborhood is the targeted area for the next church plant in Warsaw. Please pray for relationships to be established and seeds of the Gospel to be planted.
Baptisms in Nysa
Four young adults were recently baptized in Nysa. The Western Hills Christian Church in Lawton, Oklahoma, has recently become a “Living Link” church with Nysa. This month Dave Hatfield, David Menge (pastor from Western Hills), and Doyle Warren will visit this congregation to worship together and meet with their leaders.

New Church in Nysa

The church in Nysa is one of PCM’s newest churches. Pastor Bartek Robel (3rd from left) is shown here with his leadership team meeting with David Hatfield and Andrzej Bajenski.

Guests from Israel

What an honor and privilege to partner with Send Me Ministries in welcoming Holocaust survivors to Ostroda, Poland. Of the 27 guests, only a few were believers in Jesus. It is amazing to watch as God softens their hearts and opens their eyes to the wonders of His love and truth.
UKRAINIAN CHILDREN’S CAMP

68 children and 13 adults came from Ukraine to Ostroda Camp in NE Poland. Most of the children are refugees as a result of the war in eastern Ukraine. PCM partnered with the Ostroda Camp staff and interns plus short-term teams from Missouri, Michigan, and Indiana to teach, serve, and love these children. It was such a special time and many young lives were changed forever by the power of God’s love.

Polish Youth Camp

During the last week of June, five of PCM’s Polish churches came together to host a camp for 45 Polish youth (ages 12-17).
Kreo Camp 2016 was a great time as we learned about our Creator God who made us in His image and has a wonderful plan for our lives. We rejoice that at the final session 27 of the youth responded to God’s invitation and came forward for prayer.

Praising God for…
…the successful outreaches with Holocaust survivors from Israel, refugee children from Ukraine, and youth from Poland
…the short-term workers from Savannah, GA, Marshfield, MO, Rockville, IN, and Brighton, MI, who served this past month in Poland

Please pray for
…the churches in Nysa and Wyszkow whom PCM will visit this month
…relationships to deepen as PCM engages in leadership development sessions in 17 Polish churches (2016)
…US interns and short-term teams to build life-giving relationships with our Polish ministry leaders
