Some live with the dangers and uncertainties resulting from open ethnic strife. Pray that God will guard them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Pray for discernment to recognize if it is prudent to leave for a while.

The impact of physical illness can be magnified for personnel without access to needed medical care. Pray for comfort during the healing process and for wisdom to know if they should seek care elsewhere.
Friday
Illness or difficulties in their extended families can intensify awareness of separation from loved ones back home. Pray for good opportunities to connect with these loved ones and for peace as they interact from a distance.
