Sunday “In Your name I will hope, for Your name is good” (Psalm 52:9b). Pray that they will place their hope in the name—the character—of the Lord, resting fully in His faithfulness.
Monday “My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods” (Psalm 63:5a). Pray that their relationship with the Lord will be rich and satisfying despite the spiritual poverty of the environments in which many serve.
Tuesday “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” (Matthew 5:8). Pray that they will live with complete purity in thought and deed. Pray for God-pleasing motives in all that they do.
Wednesday “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:18). Pray that they will show Christ’s love in every interaction with others.
Thursday “Guard my life, for I am devoted to You. You are my God; save Your servant who trusts in You” (Psalm 86:2). Pray that they will experience God’s protection.
Friday ”Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Philippians 4:6). Pray that they will fully commit to God every concern and anxiety. Saturday “Pursue righteousness, Godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness” (I Timothy 6:11b). Pray that they will pursue a lifestyle that honors God and equips them for effective ministry. |
