November 5 – 11

North Eurasia

Pioneer Bible Translators desires to meet the needs of the Bibleless, churchless people groups of North Eurasia’s tundra. Your prayers help break down strongholds and propel our ministry of Bible translation and Scripture impact forward.

Sunday
Harsh living conditions, politically imposed atheism, and traditional animistic beliefs combine to make this a difficult region in which to minister. Pray that God will strengthen and encourage our personnel and local believers.

Monday
We serve a group of nomadic reindeer herders who now have Luke and Acts in print and audio formats, with Genesis coming soon. Pray that lives will be impacted as people read and hear God’s Word in their heart language.

Tuesday
Pray that seeds of faith planted in the hearts of each person who helped translate, edit, and record these Scriptures will take root as they continue encountering God and His Word.

Wednesday
Small groups of believers are scattered throughout this region. Pray that they will be passionate for Christ and courageous to share with others the hope that they have.

Thursday
We are beginning to serve a second people group, and teams committed to ministry among two others are engaged in language studies. Pray that God will prepare hearts in each of these groups to receive His Word.

Friday
Reaching North Eurasia’s Bibleless people groups will never be accomplished solely by expatriate personnel. Pray that God will raise up local men and women to participate in heart-language translation and Scripture impact.

Saturday
Pray that every language group in this region will soon have access to God’s Word and that they will be wholly transformed by it.
