When Gabriela made the decision to sponsor a child, she brought a unique perspective into the relationship: Gabriela had lived in Honduras as a missionary kid.  Due to her firsthand experience, Gabriela knew her sponsorship was providing more than the basics of life: she was giving her child a chance to experience childhood.

tea party for the Navajo women
Arizona
The ladies’ mission team held a special tea party to pamper the Navajo women.  It was a moving experience, as the Navajo women responded and opened up about suicide, abuse, alcoholism, etc., which is unusual because they are typically very private.  Please keep these Navajo women in your prayers.

We want our teachers and educational staff in Haiti to have the latest techniques and to reach their full teaching potential, as they inspire the next generation. We appreciate the Haitian & U.S. educators who poured themselves into a recent teaching seminar; our Haitian staff were ready for the school year to begin!
