Go Together for His Glory
Dear Mission,
Writing to the church of Ephesus, Paul falls on his knees before the Lord and pleads that the Ephesians would both know and experience the fullness of Christ’s love and presence. As believers, we have such a gift to freely enter into the Father’s presence, only through the blood of Jesus. Let us pray together that many more may be saved in Djibouti in order that they may know the breadth and length and height and depth of the Father’s love. Join us in lifting up Djibouti as a nation:
- Praise: Djibouti continues to experience peace and stability along with many open doors, allowing foreign countries to come and invest in the nation. Praise God that, through this, the country continues to receive a number of missionaries who’ve come to impact the Djibouti with the gospel.
- The Nation: As the nation is going through legislative elections, to pray that God would continue to manifest his peace throughout the country. Ask that he would continue to give us freedom to work in the communities. Pray for the hand of God to increase opportunities for the church in Djibouti to share the gospel and that all Christians of all denominations would pray together for the fruit of the gospel.
- LIA Initiatives: Many organizations have begun to experience challenges with the government concerning the local communities. The government does not want us to reach out to the communities directly and wants LIA as donors rather than community partners. Pray that God will give us wisdom and intelligence to reach targeted communities with evangelism and discipleship.
- Djibouti Brothers & Sisters: Let us pray for our brother Akmal Masif from Pakistan who is being persecuted. Akmal is being sought by the government to be executed because they discovered that he is a Christian who’s bringing transformation to communities where 13 people came to Jesus. He is married to Rozina Ruby and he has two boys (Alison Akmal and Anonson Akmal) and two girls (Alsena Akmal and Alena Akmal). He lives among us as he continues to make disciples of men while the other family members are still in Pakistan.
Thank you for joining the LIA family in praying for Djibouti!
In Christ, Florence
