Go Together for His Glory

Dear Mission,

As we enter into this week, let us be reminded that the Lord hears and uses our prayers to fulfill his will. He gives relief to those in distress and promises rest to his weary and heavy-laden children. Join us in lifting up our brothers and sisters in Ethiopia:

Praise: We thank God for the Zoe Clinic, a fully functional medical clinic being run by the local church. The clinic was on the verge of closure, but praise God that he has a plan to continue services through this clinic for the next two years. Give thanks that, in just the last three months, this clinic has treated 2,023 people and is providing antenatal care services to 28 mothers. Thank God with us for the continued service impact this clinic has in the area.
The Nation: Pray for Ethiopia as a nation as there is political unrest in certain regions of the country. Ask for peace and stability.
LIA Initiatives: We have received funds and are set to begin Youth Running Clubs with two selected partner churches.Thank God with us for the opportunity to serve in this way and pray that a sure foundation will be established in the young people being served as we begin this initiative.
LIA-Ethiopia Staff: Please pray for Terefe, an OVC Project Coordinator, who is undergoing treatment for hypertension. For the last month, he seems not to have improved. Pray that God will intervene and heal him.
