How You Can Help with IDES Disaster Response

In light of the recent earthquakes in both Ecuador and Japan and as we enter U.S. storm season, we want to highlight a few of the ways in which you can personally serve through IDES during times of disaster.

1.) By donating to the general Disaster Response Fund. Every cent of your generous gift will be put towards your desired designation:  Disaster Response

2.) By providing specific disaster-related items to families in need through the IDES Gift Catalog. Check out the variety of items you can lovingly provide here: Gift Catalog

3.) By participating as a group in Preparedness Training. There is no better way to respond to a disaster than by being fully prepared for it. Is your church family ready to serve your community when crisis strikes? Find out more by calling 317-773-4111.

Wed, May 4th – Project Story

Something you probably haven’t heard about in the news:  Ukraine is currently experiencing its own refugee crisis of internally displaced people. Since March of 2014, the violent conflict between the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics backed by the Russian Government and the defending Ukrainian Government has forced thousands of families to flee from their homes. Hunger and disease are rampant in the IDP communities within the towns they have fled to. IDES mission-partners are seizing the opportunity to show them the love of Jesus. Read more this coming Wednesday!
